"Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens




Sorry for the absence of posts the last few days. It was a hectic weekend. None the less, I have returned.

Beautiful song by Sufjan Stevens. Very sad. Also, it manages to simultaneously be minimalist and grandiose at the same time, which I find quite appealing.

I'm always impressed by Sufjan's ability to use the human voice as an instrument in his songs. One of the best vocal arrangers out there.
