"Omaha Nebraska" by Lucky Charm, Whyte Myk, Flocain

I didn't think any tribute to Omaha music could truly be complete without this gem. Two things about this song: 1. I love the Lambo doors on the late model Jeep Cherokee, and B. Don't worry Myk, I'm pretty sure they already knew you were "whyte".

"Popn' Off At The F" by Desaparecidos

I was in Houston taking the bar exam when these guys played a free Reunion show in Omaha last year. I was pretty pissed I couldn't go to it. Play one more show. Just one more. Then you can be Bright Eyes forever.

"Sink To The Beat" by Cursive

This could be the hippest song ever. It's practically wearing skinny jeans it's so self-aware. Love it. And now I'm all super hip for noticing it and pointing it out. HEY! EVERYONE! NOTICE HOW HIP I AM RIGHT NOW!!!

"Worked Up So Sexual" by The Faint

I was thinking a lot about Omaha music today. Here are three of my favorite songs from Omaha.
